Administration password

I bought a computer from a moving sale on Saturday, when I turn the
computer on it asks for a administrators password. The people I bought
it from moved to Oregon, and as of right now still haven't been able to
contact them. Is there any way I can by pass the password. Any help
would be appreciated.
