admin rights for certain software?

Im running windows2000 server at my job... and for users
to run autocad they have to have admin rights. Does anyone
know how to fix this problem?

Try applying the compatws.inf security template to the machines in question.
This template was designed to allow some non-compliant software (read:
software that forces you run as an admin) to operate without giving your end
users too many priveliges on their workstations:

Which version of Autocad? We are running AutoCad2004 here under normal user
accounts with no problems at all.
What errors are you seeing and what, if anything, is appearing in the even
logs?
