I have XP SP1 and I want to know if there is a way to make the login for the
admin account available outside of safemode? I would like to be able to log
in to that account normally.

Thanks In Advance

You shouldn't use the built-in Administrator account for daily use. It's your
safety net if anything (and it will!) goes wrong. Create a user with Admin
rights and use that instead.

That is not the answer to my question. I have another account I use for
daily operation. Do not assume that I am asking something other than what I
asked. Please answer the question I asked.

Well that's not how I read it! Anyway, I think if you get Tweakui that gives
you an option to put the Admin Login on the Welcome Screen.

Not afaik with XP Home. If you want it badly enough, you can upgrade to
XP Pro, and it is then available (but still, by default, hidden). It's
only really there to dig yourself out of holes, which you should need to
do more than once a year. 8>.

I'm not trying to be shitty, so don't take it that way. My question was

"I have XP SP1 and I want to know if there is a way to make the login for
the
admin account available outside of safemode?....."

I think you just locked onto the last sentence and got tunnel vision. Thanks
for the help you did give.

I don't think it is possible. And it is very undesirable to have it as
an account for regular use, which is probably why people are strongly
discouraged in Home by this method. Even in Pro, if I do *have* to use
it - which is extremely rarely - I prefer to do it through the SAfe Mode
boot
