Admin Account Missing

Hello,

Just had my XP Home PC rebuilt. However, the
Administrator account is now missing and I cannot install
any programs. Also, when I go to User Accounts in Control
Panel, the only account showing is the one I'm logging on
with and it is not an administrator account and no
Administrator account is showing.

Please assist.

Once you add another user account, the Administrator account becomes "hidden". For XP Home, once this occurs, you must boot the computer into Safe Mode to access the built in Administrator account. Press F8 between the BIOS POST screen and XP actually beginning to load. See Help and Support for more information on Safe Mode.
 
whoever rebuilt your computer did not give you the name and password for the
Administrator's account, but there must be one. They could not have rebuilt
your computer without an Administrator's account. I doubt anybody here
knows the name and password though.
