When I start typing in an address, IE6 automatically completes the address
because it remembers addresses that start the same way. I tried deleting
temporary internet files, but IE6 still remembers certain addresses. How can
I make it forget all addresses?

If I turn off autocomplete, it will not complete the address. But if I turn
it on again, it still remembers those old addresses. Is there a way I can
get it to forget those old addresses? Thank you for your response.

For Web addresses: Tools | Internet Options | General | Clear: History.

In Tools > Internet Options > Content > AutoComplete, did you click Clear
Forms?

Yes, I also clicked Clear Forms. But my problem is with web addresses, not
forms.

Hi there,

You may need to edit your registry to get rid of them completely. Open
regedit and go to
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\TypedURLs
and delete everything from the right side.

I deleted everything except the file called "(default)". It wouldn't let me
delete that. My problem still persists.

Hmmm....See if you have a similar key under HKEY_CURRENT_USER. I don't, but
that doesn't mean you won't.

Thank you for your response

I have looked for other keys called typedurls or something like that, but I
didn't find any.
