Address list not by last name/first name

Hi

I have installed Office 2007 and Outlook Connector. Now I have all my
"Hotmail" emails in Outlook and full two way message exchange.

One thing that I still cannot fix is the Contacts List.

I have set the sort list in Account Setting ..... Sort order to be last
name/first name and the Contacts lists are in that order.

Still confusing is the fact that I have two lists:

File as Full Name

Contacts are sorted LN/FN LN/FN
Contacts email address LN/FN FN/LN

The above I can live with but the Contacts list that Pops up when clicking
on the TO: box, upon opening a New Email is in FN/LN order.

Where and how do I fix this nuisance.

Click Tools>Account Settings. Select the Address Books tab. Choose "Outlook
Address Book" and click Change. Set the sort order of the address book view
there.

Many sync applications will sync only with the delivery location (the folder
file set as default on Tools>Account Settings>Data Files). Because you do not
have the Hotmail folders set as the delivery location, your sync is using the
local folders you've defined. If you set the delivery to be the Hotmail
folders and then restart Outlook, your sync software MAY work with the Hotmail
folders. Back up your PDA before you try this, though, in case it behaves
unexpectedly.
