I am having a hard time removing unwanted entries in the address book. Is
there an easy way to delete them for good?

Right click on unwanted names > click Delete.
It does not work for you ?

I suspect that "popcorn" is seeing old names show when he/she starts typing due to the memory in autofill.

CAN ANYONE TELL ME HOW TO GT MY ADDRESS BOOK INTO ALPHBEDICAL ORDER?
THANKS FOR THE HELP

In the Contacts folder:
Change the View to "Details".
Right-click on the "Name" column heading, click on "First Name", then click
on "Last Name"
Click on the "Last Name" heading to sort by that, or click on "First Name"
heading to sort by that.

In a Create Mail window:
Click on To:
Click on the "Name" column heading... it cycles thru 4 different sorts

In the Contact Properties:
click on the down arrow at the end of the Full Name box

Do not type your message all in capital letters. It is considered rude and
yelling.
Address book in alphabetical order :
Windows Mail (check for messages window), click Contact > menu bar ( NOT the
2nd column which is the tool bar ), click View >Sort By > click More > make
sure Name is arranged at the top of the list > OK
Go back to View > Sort By > Ascending
