address book in outlook web access

I have several users that only access the exchange server mail from the web.
when they look for an address in their contact list from the address book it
only shows addresses from the global contacts. How do we get it to search
their personal contacts? sorry if this is a stupid question- new system
yesterday.

Assuming you're referring to OWA, this is an Exchange issue, not an Outlook
issue.
