How do I shorten the address bar in Internet Explorer? I have tried everything.

Thank you;
David

[[You can move or resize the Address bar and Links bar by dragging them up,
down, left, or right. You can even move them into the menu bar!]]

Right click the Toolbar | If there is a checkmark next to: Lock the Toolbars
|
Click it to UNLock the Toolbars | Now try resizing the Address bar

Nothing happening. I tried what you said and the address will not move. I
am trying to install an ad blocker to exployer. It is instilled on my
system.

Thank you;
David

David,

Stop PopUp with CleanMyPC™ Free PopUp Blocker
http://www.registry-cleaner.net/pop-up-blocker.htm

Says: [[After installation, you will find a new toolbar in your Internet
Explorer (as below) and the tool will automatically block popup ad windows
for you when you surf in IE.]]

After looking at their screen shot, I think you have to have the Links bar
showing.

To display the Links bar...
Open IE | Right click just above the Address Bar |
If Links doesn't have a check mark next to it | Left click it.
