Address Bar will not come back

Hello,

Looking at the settings in view menu in IE6, the address bar has a check
mark next to it but will not show the address bar. Am I missing something
that will allow the address bar to appear? Any help will be appreciated!!

If you see the smallest piece of the Address Bar (usually the name)
then stretch the Address bar back to a normal size and move it if
necessary. If the Button Bar or some other bar is to the right of it,
you may want to move that to a different position first.

Don't forget to ensure "Lock the Toolbars" is unchecked in
View-Toolbars.

Hi Parker,

Thank you for posting!

Personally, I agree with Alan, you may try the below steps:

1. Click View --> Toolbars. See if Address Bar was checked. Try
unchecking and re-checking.
2. Check to see if Address Bar is in upper right-hand corner and greyed out.
3. Right-clicked on Address, unlock the toolbar.
4. Left-click on Address and drag the Address bar to the position desired.
You may have to move the address bar up or down to show icons.

In addition, there is an article in MIcrosoft knowledge base mentioned
similar issue.
