Address bar in Windows Explorer

How do I get an editable address bar to be displayed in Windows Explorer? I am used to working on
Win2K professional, and I could edit that address more quickly than clicking on folders.

Right click in a blank space on the toolbar and choose "Address bar"

have you tried creating "favorites" for most common
visited directories/files/folders? then you might not
use windows explorer as much.

If you're address bar is missing, and can't be restored via the context menu, see www.dougknox.com, Win XP Utilities, Repair Missing Toolbars in Explorer/IE
