Address Bar in My Computer

When I open My Computer on my laptop there is no address bar. On my desktop
there is an address bar. How do I get an address bar to appear on my laptop
when I open my computer?
 
Hi,

Open it, click view/toolbars/address bar. Close using file/exit. See if it
holds.

Tried that but the addres bar still does not appear and the word address is
still greyed out.

You have XP Home, right? I have the same problem with a box with Home on
it. With Pro, no problems.

Does he mean

Right click blank space on toolbar / taskbar

When options appear select "Toolbars"

Select "Address"

Address bar on main taskbar.


????

Hehe, I wasn't sure if you really meant "Open my computer" or open "My
Computer" with it being a laptop :)
