Address Bar History - deleting previous entries

I want to delete all historical entries thru the address
bar but I can't seem to remove all consistently (even
after "Clearing History" and checking some options under
the "Advanced" tab through Internet Options). I think my
answer is somewhere in the "Advanced" options. Thanks for
any suggestions.

This is actually a bit of a problem. In order to do this you need delete
the index.dat file under c:\Documents and Settings\Username\Cookies
However you can't do this to your own file as it will be "in use". You'll
have to log in as administrator and then navigate to the appropriate folder
to delete the file.
