Address Bar Cleans Out

Even though I haven't cleared my history, IE6 w/SP1 is clearing all my
visited
URL's in the drop down of my address bar on its own. This happens
at random times and I can't figure out how to stop it. Help!

In Tools->Internet Options->General tab you can specify how many days to
keep pages in the History. If you have set this number to a low number then
IE will keep clearing history at these intervals. Try setting it to a higher
number.
Otherwise, do you have any third-party IE add-on applications installed that
may be interfering with the history?
What are you system specifications - Windows version+updates listed in IE

OS please! How do you shut your system down? Any power failures?
Improper shut down can cause either History or TIF to be cleared
(most often TIF).

Tweak UI has an option for clearing the "TypedURLs" ... just a thought.
