adding/upgrading

The Microsoft site says I can get the excel 2003 at a
discount price if I qualify. My Works Suite 2002 is on
the qualifying list, but works suite 2002 didn't come
with excel. Can I get the new version without having had
any previous version?

Hi Richard!

If you upgrade Works 2002 to Office 2003 you appear to be eligible for
the upgrade price:

But if you only want to upgrade Works 2002 to Excel 2003 it appears
that you are not eligible:
