Adding up Time

Good Morning,
I have the following set up as hours worked in a given
day. I want to total the hours per day for a weekly
total. The sum function is not adding the hours
correctly. Here's my table:
In Lunch Out Lunch In Out
Total Hours
9:00 14:45 15:45 18:00 1:00 8:00
8:58 14:45 15:45 18:59 1:00 9:01
8:57 0:00 0:00 13:07 0:00 4:10
8:58 14:55 15:55 18:00 1:00 8:02
8:56 15:04 16:04 18:10 1:00 8:14
0 0:00 0:00 0 0:00 0:00
0 0:00 0:00 0 0:00 0:00

Weekly Total

I want to sum the Weekly total but when I do, the sum
comes back as 13:27. If I try to put a formula in of
=8:00+9:00+4:10, etc., this doesn't work either. I
thought maybe it was something to do with the way it's
formatted but I've tried re-formatting the column every
way possible. Any suggestions?

Have you tried the format of [h]:mm? (that is the h is in square
brackets) -- this allows hours >23 to be displayed

format the target cell for the sum formula with the custom
format:
[hh]:mm
