Adding the Serial # Automatically during sysprep

Does anyone know how to have sysprep or any other utility
automatically pull the serial number from a laptop and
make it the computer name? We have IBM R31's and R40's

I certainly do.

Take a look at compname.exe from www.willowhayes.co.uk

It's freeware. Try "compname.exe /s" to start with and make sure it picks
up the information. If not, drop me an e-mail (my address is on the site).
