Adding row to protected form

Have 3 column form - noticed Tab to add row does not work when form protected
- cursor returns to top of form. Any suggestions?
Or can someone offer a macro to add a row containing a blank text form field
in each column.
Working with Word 2003.

You need to release the protection somehow: you can't do it otherwise.

Either unprotect the entire document, or surround the table with section
breaks, then protect all sections EXCEPT the section containing the table.
