How do I add a picture to a document on the right side when I have wording on
the left side. The picture wants to go above or below the line I click on.

For instance:

words
put picture here
words
into this type of
words
space
words

Or perhaps a 2-Column Table would be even better?

You could, as has been suggested, use a two-column table, but if your intent
is to wrap text around a picture on the right side of the page, then you
should click on the picture to display the Picture toolbar, then click on
the Text Wrapping button (dog icon) and choose Square or Tight wrapping
instead of In Line With Text. You can then drag the picture where you want
it (double-click on it to fine-tune its position, distance from text, etc.,
through Format Picture | Layout | Advanced).
