Adding New Tables to a split Database

How do I add new tables to a split database? I tried adding a new table to
my backend, however when I tried to set up a query for the table in the Front
End it could not find the table.
 
First you need to create the table in the back end datase, as you did. The
next step is to open the front end database and link the table.
In the ribbon click External Data , Access, and follow the prompts. Be sure
to select the option to link, not import.
