Adding music to power point so it runs for entire show

Explain how to apply the music to slide show so that it plays for entire
number of slides. I have composed a 173 slides for my power point and I have
10 songs that it plays to. How dow I save the songs to the show, have them
play to the entire show and then burn everything to one CD so we can watch on
a DVD player that is compatible to run CD-RW?

Hi,

Sound across slides:

Play sounds across multiple slides (A WAV runs through it)

And moving presentations to CD/:

Sounds/Movies don't play, images disappear or links break when I move or
email a presentation

Thanx, I followed all instructions under heading Power Point 2002/XP or Power
Point 2003. I am thinking that my program has a glitch the sound file will
not start playing. I have tried it so many times that the sound icon will not
ever disappear even if I drag it of the screen a new one just appears. I have
removed music files countless times and tried reinserting them but I still
can't get the sound to start. Also if I have a sound file present my 1st
slide will not proceed to 2nd slide. Man this program is really beginning to
irratate me, If I hadn't put so many hours into it I would buy a new program.

Delete the sounds, save the file, close the file and PPT and reboot.

Then after you reboot, make sure your sound file is in the same folder as
your presentation, then open PPT and open the file.

Insert--Movies and Sounds--Sound from File. Say yes to "do you want to play
the sound automatically?" (or how do you want the file to play or whatever
that dialog says.)

Now right-click the sound and choose custom animation. Because you said
"play automatically," your sound should be listed already on the custom
animation task pane. Double-click its name there in the task pane. In the
"stop playing after XXX slides" area, put 999. Click OK.

Now drag the icon off the edge of the slide.
