I am trying to add songs from iTunes to a presentation in PowePoint 2003. It
is not letting me does this. I get a message that says I should "verify the
path and file format are correct". I am not sure if I am doing it wrong or
if I am not able to add sound from iTunes. Please help! Thanks.

Almost all iTunes have digital rights management (DRM) placed on them. This
means that you are not authorized to use them in anything except the
authorized devices and may not make copies (even if you paid for the
downloaded music). My advice is to seek the tune from another source that
allows the media to be used (assuming that you do have the authorization and
legal right to use it).

There are methods for removing DRM from music, but even if you do have the
legal right to use the music and permission from the copyright holder,
removing the DRM is probably illegal. Read the agreement you OK'd through
when you agreed to use iTunes, it should spell all this out in
Apple-flavored legalize.
