Adding jpegs as background to titles/credits

Yes, put the still images on the video track and the text overlays on the
overlay track.
 
Yes. Just place the desired jpeg in the timeline then go to
the "Make Titles or Credits" command and sellect "make
title ON selected clip". It creates the title as an overlay.
 
This works like a charm, PJ, but it took me forever to figure it out.

Damm thats was easy imust have spent a good hour and a half trying to work that out
