adding from one year to the next

Hello,

I have a program that takes a daily reading and subtracts the previous days
number to get an daily total. Anyway, I can figure out how to do the numbers
from January 1 thru December 31 within the same worksheet, but my question is
how do I take the January 1st reading from 2007 and subtract December 31st
from 2006? I would like to make 2007 on a seperate worksheet. How can I do
that?

type in
- (minus)
Now click on the 2006 worksheet to make it active, go to the cell with Dec
2006's reading, click on it, and press <Enter>
That will take you back to the 2007 sheet, where you will see the correct
context for entering such formulae
