Adding domain local group to machine local Power Users group

C

CB

I'm using RIS in a Windows 2000 AD based network to deploy WinXP Pro
desktops and would like to know how I can add a domain local group
(such as Authenticated Users, etc.) to the "Power Users" group on the
local machine.

Is this possible?

Any pointers would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Chris

I would use Group policies to do that. There you have a setting called
Restricted Groups (unser security settings). With this setting you can
prescribe local group membership on your local machines.

Matjaz:

I see how I can do this, but the Power Users group is not visible to
select. Do I just enter it as "Power Users" and then add domain
accounts / groups to that restricted group?
