Adding Buttons to Toolbars

I'm not even sure if this is possible but I'll ask. Can I use a System
Policy to force buttons onto a user's toolbar in Outlook 2000? We are going
to be using start using Forms in the next couple of week and my boss wants
to make it as easy as possible for users to get to them. I suggested that
we add the Choose Form button right onto their toolbars in Outlook. But
instead of going around to every single machine in the company I'd like to
use a NT4 System Policy to either add a custom toolbar or just include the
Choose Form button right on the standard toolbar. Any ideas on how to do
this?

Mike,

You cannot do this via system policy. The toolbar button customizations are
handled by the Outcmd.dat file. I haven't tried "deploying" a customized
version of Outcmd.dat but that's something you could test. You can also
write a macro to add the toolbar button.

Hope this helps.

Greg,

Thanks for the quick response. Should be easy enough to create a Outcmd.dat
file and just copy to their workstations during their login.

Mike,

That's definitely something you would want to test. :-)
