Adding a user account to my server...

I'm running an SQL Server cluster that has 2 nodes and one domain
controller.
I wanted to add a user and give them access via Terminal services to the
cluster.

I have (logged in as administrator) through MMC added the user to each node,
and this didn't work - logging in as the user I was told I didn't have
permission to login.
I deleted the user account from each node and on the domain controller in
ADS I added the
user account and again was told I did not have the right to login.

This is wonderfully complicated and counter-intuitive.

Can someone tell me what the secret is to adding a user to this cluster so
that they may login.

Randy,

I am assuming that Terminal Services is installed in Remote Admin mode. The
problem is that only administrators are allowed to login. As a workaround
open the Terminal Services Configuration MMC, highlight Connections, then
right click the RDP connection and go to properties. On the security tab add
the user that you want to be able to logon.
