Is it possible to add a signature to a Word document? I don't want
suggestions that say "use a camera." Also, is it possible to customize that
signature (i.e. with a circle around it?). Thanks.

Yes, of course you can add signature.
You can write in header or footer, if you wanted

Taking a digital picture of your signature or scanning it from a piece
of paper are your only options unless you are fluent with a mouse in
mspaint.exe :)

Note that adding an image containing nothing more than your signature
does not validate the document in any way. Everybody who gets their
hands on the document can alter it in any way they want. For digitally
signing a Word document, you might want to check

Yes. Write it down, scan it in, edit it with a circle, insert that file.
