Adding a second hard drive

I have just added a new 160GB hard drive to PC running XP Pro.

On power up I saw 'new hardware found' - 'Disk Drive'. It is visible
in system - hardware - devices and in the bios. But not in explorer
and doesn't have a drive letter. Help please

Click on Start then Run then type in "diskmgmt.msc" without the quotation
marks. This will open the disk management console. You can partition and
format the new drive here.
