Adding a running head to a research paper?

How do I add a running head to a research paper? I am taking classes and the instructor want everything in APA format which requires a running head and I don't remember how to do that. Also is there a template for APA format?

For an APA format template, your best bet is to use Google. There are lots
out there. You can also use Google Groups to search the
microsoft.public.word.* groups for previous discussions of APA templates and
some links.

For headers, click View Headers/Footers and type something into the header.
If the header needs to change throughout the paper, StyleRef fields are the
way to go. Described along with many other useful tricks in
