Adding a Divx clip

I need to insert a Divx .avi clip into a slide. I can play the clip in
powerpoint, but I have no sound. The clip plays fine using the Divx player.
Any ideas?

Does it have to be Divx? I'd go for something more compatible with PPT and
the MCI Media Player.

Yes, it has to be Divx. This is the format that I was given.

If you can't get it in a different format, then I can only suggest that you
link to the DivX player and let it take care of playing the video.
