Add switches to Update.msi with Active Directory Install?

Does anyone have any experience with deploying Service Packs with a GPO and
using switches on the update.msi. I am trying to deploy the service pack in
the quickest amount of time by eliminating the default backup and uninstall.
Running it normally I could just use UPDATE.MSI /N but I do not see an
option for adding a switch within the software deployment section. Thanks
