add/remove

I would like to know how to remove a program from add/ remove programs if it
was not removed properly. i installed a real estate appraiser software then
removed it but not from the add/ remove programs like i should of . n i
deleted it from the all programs buttom [hitting start] but did not remove
through the add/remove file. now i cant delete it from the add/remove. help

You can try the following:
Go to Start -> Run and enter regedit.exe in the Open box.
Navigate to this key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall

Click the + sign to expand the key. Look for the program you
removed and right click on it. Select Delete from the drop down
menu.

Reinstall it, then remove it using add/remove programs.

Look in the registry at the following location:

[HKLM\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\uninstall\<ProgramName>]

Delete the <ProgramName> key. This will remove the entry in the Add or
Remove Programs.

or

Reinstall the real estate program and then run the uninstall program
again.

The easiest and best way is probably to reinstall it, then
uninstall it properly.
