Add\Remove Programs Whitespace

Is there any way at all to remove a zillion pages of whitespace in the
middle of the Add-Remove Programs listing?

Is there any way to remove entries from this listing (only) without removing
(uninstalling) the program?

Thanks...I have already removed (uninstalled) the programs before and after
the whitespace, but it still stays there, unaffected.
