John Jay Smith

When I say slow I mean you have to wait 10 minuts for it to populate....

this is not my machine its a friends... she just formated installed with a
slipstreamed SP2 and installed the windows updates....

she then tried to uninstall something and it was not working... she hadnt
had time to install much..
then she noticed it was not working.

I tried googling around for an hour... I tried some things people were
saying but no go..
here is what I found but didnt work:

Have you tried a System Restore to an earlier date?

You could try investigating by:

If no joy:
If the updates weren't included on the slipstreamed install disk, try a repair
install. All updates will have to be reinstalled whcih you can then choose
selectively.

If the updates weren't included on the disk, create a new disk tha includes
all of the updates.
