When I did a fresh install of XP Pro, my add or remove programs list is
blank. Nothing ever shows up on it. Is there a fix for this?

On newly installed XP, the Add/Remove Programs list is normally "blank"
until you add additional programs, beside XP, or Windows updates.

My bad, I guess I wasn't specific...lol...Sorry...I have installed programs
that I no longer need, such as ftp software, and games that my kids have
installed. But it's blank, and always has been...Any suggestions? And
thanks for the quick responses...

Check that the Registry key is there.
Read this response for Win9x/ME and see if it applies.
(It may still me relevant in XP)

All Installed Programs May Not Be Displayed in the Add/Remove Programs
Tool
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=240348

I have fixed several of these recently for others.
The problem will occur in these two situations:

1. The uninstall keyname for an application is greater than 63
characters.
Solution: Rename the keyname.
e.g. this is invalid
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\1234567890123456789012345678901234567890123456789012345678901234]

2. The DisplayName for the key is greater than 63 characters.
Solution: Shorten DisplayName
e.g. this is invalid
"DisplayName"="1234567890123456789012345678901234567890123456789012345678901234"

If you need a second opinion, export the key to a text file and email
it to me.

*** Note that the invalid entry that can cause this is not necessarily
connected with the ones missing so you must check all entries.

I dunno...I'll try when I get home, but when I had XP Home, I had the same
programs installed as I do now, and they were showing up...I'm thinking it's
something more, unless all of the programs keynames are longer than 63
Chars...

Does the Add/Remove window appear to be 'normal looking' ?
There is a MS KB article that referes to corrupt Add/Remove ie nothing
shown, but it usually displays some 'odd' wording at the top, unfortunately
I no longer have url

What about the keynames?
If all the keys are there, then Add/Remove can be fixed.

What I want you to do:
Use Regedit.
(Start-Run-Regedit)
Navigate down to the key below.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall

Ensure the highlight is on the key in the left-hand pane.
Use the menu option Registry-Export and export that key to a text
file.
Send me that file as an attachment, not embedded in the body of the
email.
