add/remove program (control panel) is missing?

Hi,

I'm hoping this is a minor problem but recently the
add/remove control panel program icon disappeared and
cannot be started. At the same time IE also deveoped
a "Restrictions" notification that the "Internet
Options..." feature is restricted?

Any ideas? We have installed Anti-Virus S/W and enabled
the firewall (XP) but these features are still disabled.

Hi,

Were you mucking about with anything? Something like gpedit.msc (the group
policy editor) or secpol.msc? Or perhaps TweakUI? Are you running from a
limited account?

Remove/Correct Add or Remove Restrictions (Line 208) right hand side:
