add/remove list

How do you get items out of the add/remove list that have already been taken
out but continue to show in the list? Using system restore is good for
causing this.
 
Hi,

Delete the corresponding key under this one in the registry:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall

Ive got TweakUI and have yet to find anything related to add/remove in it
unlike the old version for 98. The older version seemed much more user
friendly and useful.
