Add/Remove in Controll Panel

Odd, but I noticed that if I want to remove or uninstall a program
from the Control Panell, I can't "see" any programs after the letter
M. I have most of the same programs on my laptop that I have on my
desktop and I can see all things in the Add/Remove program on my
laptop but not on the desktop.
Any thoughts?

If you scroll down the program list, there may be a huge white space and
then more program listings.
