Whenever I try to use the add printer wizard, or install
a driver for my printer that also uses the add printer
wizard, I get an 'operation can't be completed' error
message before anything gets going. Whats going on??

Hey tahnks Dave, if you hear anything post a reply to
here, the problem is I can't even clear old drivers
because of the error message appearing, so I'm not quite
sue what to do next.

Hey Dave, I started through some of that process, but I
found that I don't have the keys 'version-2' and 'version-
3'. When I went to windows/system32/spool/drivers/w32x86,
I had a folder named '3', but it was already completely
empty. This leads me to believe I already don't have any
old drivers, but maybe I'm missing something using
regedit. Once I got
toHKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Prin
t\Environments\Windows NT x86\Drivers, there is no
version-2 or version-3 key that I can see. Maybe you
will see something different, I'll check back later
tonight and hopefully we can figure something out.

I found my problem, the print spooler wasn't started.
right click on my computer, manage, service and app,
services, print spooler. Mine was set to manual start.
Right click and change it to auto start.

Mine is already set to automatic, interact with the
desktop. whenever I start it, it only runs a few moments
then stops.

RPC is running.
