After several upgrade downloads my Add or Remove Programs list is full
of Windows XP Hotfix - xxxxx listings. As I have no intention of
removing them how can I unlist them. Can I just delete the data from the
registry?

You might try opening ADD/REMOVE programs and at the top uncheck show
updates.

Hi,

After several upgrade downloads my Add or Remove Programs list is full
of Windows XP Hotfix - xxxxx listings. As I have no intention of
removing them how can I unlist them. Can I just delete the data from the
registry?

You can go here:

http://www.dougknox.com/

Click on 'Win XP Utilities' and scrool down to
Remove hotfix backup files.

Good luck

I'm with Unknown on this; maybe it's because I am using the Classic
view?

First go to your Windows folder and delete all the $NtUninstallKB*$
folders. Then go back to Add/Remove programs and select each update and
click on Remove. Windows will give you a message and then delete the
registry entry.
