Add or remove programs icon doesn't work

Greg

When I go to control panel, and then double click Add or
Remove programs, nothing happens. The hourglass comes up
but then the application never opens. Any suggestions on
a fix or another way to get the app to open?? Thanks in
advance
 
Greg, did you find out how to correct this problem. The same thing is happening to me
