Add new items to combobox after the datasource is set

Is there a way to add a new item to a combobox after Datasource property is
set to a recordset?

Wich version are you using that you can set a combobox to a recordset, I
never heard from that.
Can be interesting because it is extended by the bindingsource, however I
thought that the bindingsource had as well no relation to the recordset.
