Add-Ins tab missing in Excel 2007

Mike

For some strange reason the Add-ins tab is missing from my ribbon in Excel
'07. I have 4 Excel add-ins installed, plus 1 more COM add-in. All the
literature I can find says that the add-ins tab should appear after any
add-ins are installed.

Any suggestions on how to get it to show up? I already uninstalled all the
add-ins, restarted my computer, then reinstalled them.

Thanks!

Hi Mike

Click the Round Office button>Excel Options>Addins>near bottom of page click
Go>Place a Tick against the Addins you want to use.
The Addins tab should then appear with the Addins listed.

Roger,

I already have the 7 addins that come with Excel checked. I tried
unchecking them all, closing excel, restarting my computer, then checking
them again - and the Addins tab still did not show up.

Thx,
Mike

Hello Mike,

I am having the same problem with Excel 2007.
By any chance have you got a solution for this problem?

Thanks,

I too am having (rather, one of the sales guys I support) the same issue. There is a price guide with custom add-ins, and it worked for him a few weeks ago, and without any config changes known to him, it is just gone. I have opened the file on several of my own PC's and they all display the add-ins properly. Any ideas as to how to resolve this? If you like, I can email anyone interested a copy of my file with add-ins, it's not sensitive information.

Thanks!

Hi Bob,

Try,

Download "Excel Menu-2003" from below website.
http://shahshaileshs.web.officelive.com/MenuAddins.aspx

Open in excel. You can see Addins Tab having Classic menu inside.
Go To menu>View>Toolbar.
You can see the list of all toolbars including custom toolbar.
If you only see 3 custom toolbars(of this addins), restart excel & again
view the toolbars.
If you find the name of your custom toolbar, just tickmark by clicking on it
that will load you custom toolbar in the addins tab.

It seems that your addins custom toolbars are attached with addins (not
created by vba codes) & deleted in excel-2007 by Right clicking on custom
toolbar.
