add-ins and macro transferrability?

Petr

Hi All
I plan to use some add-ins in my presentations prepared in PP 2003. The
tests run very well on my machine where the add-ins are installed and
loaded.
Will everything work the same as on my machine if the presentation runs on a
different computer? Do the add-ins embed in the presentation or are they
machine dependent?
What is a difference between a macro and an ad-in?
Thanks
Peter

The biggest difference is that macros are part of the presentation while
add-ins are installed on a machine. Add-ins can do a few things that
macros can't (such as do something as soon as a presentation is opened
without clicking), but they have to be installed on each machine where
they are to be used.
