add control on datasheet subform

I would like to add a control on my subform. It seems that I am able to add a
control on my subform if it is single form, but can not add control on
datasheet form.

Am I right? If I am wrong please let me know,
Are there any work around?

It depends on the control and what you want to see.

Many controls can be added to single or continuous and appear more or
less the same. However certain properties will not operate the same
between the two possibilities.

As to datasheet view of a form. You can add a subform, BUT it appears
as a + sign to the left of the row and what it will display is also in
datasheet format. Other visually related controls and their properties/
events DO NOT operate at all.
