Add Company name in Business Contacts

Can I configure the Address Cards to have the Company name in addition to
the Contact's Name when viewing the Business Contacts in Business Contacts
Manager?
Currently I have the following displayed:

John Doe
1234 Any St
Somewhere, US 99999

I would Like to have:
Company Name
Doe
1234 Any St
Somewhere, US 99999

Randy,

To do this go to the Filing Information section on the Business Contact
Record. Click on the drop down arrow to the right of the File as field
display box and select the option where both the name and the company name
display in this field. Save and Close the Business Contact Record and the
Address Card view will now display both the Company name and the Contact name.

Tim,

Please forgive my ignorance or maybe I'm just blind but I can't find the
"Filing Information" section. Where is it?

Also, your answer seems to apply to only one record at a time, I would like
to configure all the Address Cards as described below. Can it be done
globally?

Randy,

On an open Business Contact record you will find the "Filing Information"
section in Blue ink just above the Categories button in the middle right side
of the form.

Unfortunately, I only know how to do this one record at a time. I am unaware
If there is a way to do this globally.

Tim,
Bingo! Now I see it.
Thank you.

I loved you post about the poor design of BCM.

I can't believe this app doesn't have the ability to custom format the
displayed info. There are times I cannot remember a person's name but I
remember the company they work for. Being able to 'sort' and /or display
these fields and make global format changes is just common sense and makes
the app more 'user friendly'. Currently it's 'user obnoxious'.
End of rant.

Randy,

To display different field when viewing contacts, you can customize the
current view. In the left pane below contacts, there is a Current View
section. At the bottom of this section is a link to "Customize Current
View". Click this link and a form will popup. Here you can edit the view
settings. To show the Company field, click the Fields... button and add the
field you want to the list on the right. You can move the field up or down
depending on your preferences. Hope this helps.
