Add Comment Field to Outlook Messages Flagged for Follow Up.

Many times when you flag a message for follow up, you find yourself wondering
whether you will remember the details of what you are supposed to follow up
on, especially when the follow-up date is more than a few days out. Adding a
comment field to the "Flag for Follow Up" dialog box that would allow you to
jot down some brief notes on future actions would make the follow-up feature
infinitely more useful. The comment field should be user-selectable for
display in the "Reminders Window" and the folder pane (the Inbox pane, in
most cases).

Diane,

Thanks for your response. How would I go about typing something in the
field? I'm using Outlook 2003. I don't see any place to type anything.

when you click on the flag button to add the reminder, click where it says
Flag to and type over "Follow up"

Thank you, that does it, I can't believe that I've been doing this for 10 years and never thought of trying that. At work we use Lotus Notes and I can do it with Notes, it bugged me that I couldn't do it at home where I use Outlook and now I see I can.
