add autocomplete addresses to contacts

In Outlook 2003, is there a way to capture all the e-mail addresses in
message that are sent/received and add them to contacts? If not, to NK2 file?

I had to reformat my drive and lost my NK2 but have all my messages. Thanks.

there are 3rd party programs that will save the addresses you reply to, to
contacts.

you can use ingressor (www.ingressor.com) to capture the addresses in the
NK2 file, but it's really better to capture the addresses as you reply and
not rely on the NK2 - it's too fragile to trust.

Diane,

While I have the utmost respect for your knowledge of Outlook and related
plug-ins, I respectfully disagree with your assessment of the NK2 file's
fragility. It is usually a disconnect between the registry and the NK2 file
that causes the majority of NK2 file problems. Here is what we know for
certain, if there is data in the file, (meaning not a zero byte file) it is
generally a good file. If the records contained within the NK2 file to not
validate via a checksum algorithm, Outlook will reduce the file to zero
bytes (very bad file)..

In our vast experience with this file, I'd say that the NK2 file is anything
but fragile. You are welcome to a version of our software so that you can
verify what I'm writing. Just ask!
