Add administrator Account Post Install

Hey guys,

I was wondering what the deal is with administrator accounts. By "the deal"
let me explain.

I have the standard administrator account component and user account
component in my configuration. We have a custom application we use to
control machinery. The problem is without the right permissions
(administrator) the SNMP features of the application fail. Under the
administrator account the application runs fine. However, if I add a new
user and add it's group administrators, and remove "Users" to appear exactly
as the admin does. The application crashes. This implies to me that the
permissions are not identical. Does anyone have a solution? I really don't
want to have to add all posible users into the configuration and set their
cmiusergroup.

Any suggestions/ideas?

Thanks,

Mark

Add ntrights.exe and cmd.exe to the image then poke around to see
*exactly* what the differences are. I've found this to be the only way
to chase this sort of thing.

Thanks Glenn I appreciate the help. This one is my fault. We had to
re-register our dlls, exes etc. That solved my problem. It seems as though
the rights are in fact identical. My dumb mistake. PEBKAC
